2014 HAI Heli-Expo in Anaheim

International Machine Transport recently visited the 2014 Heli-Expo, held in Anaheim, California. The show featured:

• 20,000 Attendees
• 714 Exhibitors
• 65 aircraft on display
• Over 1 million sq. ft. of helicopter enthusiasts

The show was a huge success with numerous large deals being brokered and new business relationships being formed. Several show highlights from our team include:

• Heritage of Helicopters Display – In a salute to all military veterans, a photo was taken with all current and former service member in front of an original UH-1 (Huey), complete with door mounted M-60 machines guns, rocket pods and mini-guns.
• Numerous new aircraft unveiled at the show from all major manufacturers: Bell, Sikorsky, Agustawestland and Airbus Helicopters.
• Dolly Parton – Yes, either it was the actual Dolly Parton or a clever look alike at the show. We aren’t sure which booth or product she was promoting, but she was definitely getting a lot of attention from the male visitors to the show.

IMT met with the majority of our existing clients and industry partners at the show, as well as gained a greater appreciation for the helicopter industry as a whole. As an experienced and dedicated helicopter transport service provider, IMT is looking forward to next year’s show in Orlando, FL.
